“CIBER was easy to work with and competitively priced. They quickly brought a great deal of expertise and experience to the table, and delivered on their promises. We felt that we were in good hands, because the CIBER consultants we brought in had 'been there, done that" before.”

Steve DeMougin — Deputy Director for the Department of IT, State of Indiana

CIBERLaw®

Strong Focus for Civil and Prosecuting Attorney’s Offices

Efficient Justice Agencies in the public sector want to automate routine tasks, minimize data entry, and share data with colleagues. With comprehensive case management systems in place, professional, paralegal, and administrative staff can then focus their efforts on trial strategy, investigation of cases, communications with victims and witnesses, and development of innovative crime prevention programs.

CIBERLaw Automation for Criminal and Civil Case Management

The CIBERLaw Case Management System was developed by and for public sector attorney offices, both prosecutors and civil attorneys and staffs. It is designed to minimize the redundant entry of case-specific information and to maximize the ability to customize and configure to match local practices and preferences. CIBERLaw helps your office manage all aspects of a case. The system features intelligent, automated generation of case documents and reports. CIBERLaw provides full-featured data exchange and interface capabilities and delivers the comprehensive case management automation required of today’s justice agencies.

Key features and functionality:

  • Comprehensive Case Management
  • Comprehensive Event Management
  • Integrated Document Generation
  • Integrated Workflow Management
  • Configuration Management
  • Application Reports
  • Ad-hoc Reporting
  • Security Management and Administration

The solution fully integrates case processing and reporting, legal support, and case event tracking activities. It provides capabilities to scan and record external files, so attorneys can reference all case evidence and documents from one location. Related cases can be automatically or manually linked together, making it simple to see all the matters involving a particular person or incident. The “My Home” feature provides users with quick links to their outstanding workload in the system, reminders, and overdue notices regarding all of their cases.

CIBERLaw is 100% browser-based which enables systems to be connected to the network and immediately run the CIBERLaw application. This “zero customer” or “thin-customer” configuration saves substantial time, energy, management, and troubleshooting support.

Built on the .NET platform, CIBERLaw is fully integrated with the Microsoft desktop. The home page can be set to the CIBERLaw application and browser preferences, toolbars settings, and favorites will interact directly with the CIBERLaw application. All built-in browser functionality inter-operates seamlessly. Navigation is intuitive and extremely efficient.
