Data Center Operations

CIBER is a leader in data center operations and delivers secure, reliable business continuity, backup and retrieval, server hosting capabilities. Our global data centers operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week in “non-stop” mode. The CIBER data centers have been designed and outfitted to meet the most stringent requirements and pass rigorous SAS 70 Type II testing. Our extensive experience and site locations provide complete professional coverage across the entire range of off-site data center capabilities. These data center solutions will help you reduce risk, lower cost of ownership, streamline IT management, and minimize downtime throughout your organization CIBER is dedicated to the delivery of high quality sustainable services to our client base.

Network Operations Center

CIBER will monitor client networks from our global Network Operations Center (NOC) with our primary NOC facility located in Edison, NJ. CIBER’s NOC operations have been professionally designed to provide uninterrupted service to our customers. Strict guidelines have been taken to eliminate single points of failure in power, air conditioning, communications and systems. Fire-suppression, water detection, physical security and data security are state-of-the-art. CIBER employees staff the NOC around the clock, to support monitoring, management and escalation of events.

Service Levels

We offer various managed services based on industry standard SLAs. Customers can select one or more managed services or select to self manage their equipment and its operating environment.

Data Center Facility and Environment Managed Services – Provides the facilities and environmental conditions required for professionally housing and securing computer and network equipment. This service is always fully managed by CIBER.

Equipment Managed Services – Provides technical services to support repair and maintain your computer and network equipment.

Operating System Managed Services – Provides technical services to support update and maintain your computer operating systems and operating system utilities.

Data Base Managed Services – Provides technical services to support, update and maintain your data base file system and data base utilities.

Firewall Managed Services – Provides the technical environment and services to support, update and maintain your firewall. This includes all firewall hardware, software and firmware.

Internet Managed Services – Provides the technical environment and services to support, update and maintain connectivity to the Internet. Also provides for redundant connectivity utilizing multiple internet providers.

Backup Managed Services – Provides technical services and operational staff to support and maintain on-going backup procedures.

Scheduled Operational Services – Provides technical services and operational staff to support and maintain on going computer-scheduled jobs (predetermined procedures).
