GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Feb. 11, 2009 - CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR) announces a multi-year award under the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation's Omnibus Contract II (STOC II). STOC II is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a $17.5 billion cap, over as many as 10 years. CIBER's combined skill and experience will allow the company to work in close partnership with the Army Program Executive Office to provide management and oversight of all delivery and task orders awarded to the company within the STOC II environment.
"The overall purpose of STOC II is to have highly-qualified contractors' on-hand to rapidly satisfy the needs of our nation's Warfighters,” according to Brian Murphy, the PEO STRI contracting officer responsible for STOC II.
As a result of this award, CIBER is fully eligible to bid on comprehensive projects to meet the U.S. Army's training and testing needs. These include instrumentation, targets, threat systems, devices, gaming systems, simulators and simulations.
