DENVER, Colo. - Nov. 12, 2007 - CIBER Enterprise Solutions, a division of CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR), today announced that Oracle Consulting selected it to help implement and integrate Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions 9.0 for all campuses of the University of Colorado (CU). In addition, CU will implement Oracle® SOA Suite, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, to build a service-oriented architecture (SOA) that will help integrate various applications and improve IT system flexibility and efficiency. This project marks one of the first implementations of Oracle SOA Suite at a higher education institution.

The PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions application will replace CU's mainframe-based information data management system (IDMS) by Sungard Higher Education. The student information systems will also integrate with CU's existing PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management and PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Management applications, delivering even greater operational efficiency.

Competition for qualified students is increasing among universities nationwide, just as federal funding for public institutions decreases. In an effort to meet these demands and cost-effectively deliver more services to candidates, students, staff, and faculty, CU sought an information technology (IT) system that would help it reduce duplicate data entry, promote data access and reusability, improve transparency and compliance with federal regulations, and increase student recruiting and retention.

For the project, titled Project MetamorphoSIS (where SIS stands for Student Information System), Oracle will provide the PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions suite, and Oracle Consulting, with CIBER working as a subcontractor, will implement the software applications and integrate them into the existing IT systems at CU's Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Denver campuses. The project will include implementation of PeopleSoft Enterprise Student Administration, PeopleSoft Enterprise Customer Relationship Management, PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal, and PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions Data Warehouse. CU will use Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) to tailor new business processes, streamline the implementation process, and encourage user acceptance.
