Insurance Coverage
Medical
CIBER offers a choice of two medical plans in most locations. A
comprehensive PPO with excellent in and out-of-network benefits
including wellness benefits and prescription drug card is offered
Nationwide. Additionally, an HMO or another alternative medical
plan is also offered in most locations.
Dental / Vision
The CIBER dental and vision plans offer comprehensive benefits,
including orthodontic care, without network restrictions.
Disability Protection
At no cost to employees, eligible CIBER employees are covered for
short-term and long-term disabilities. After six (6) months of employment,
short-tern disability benefits are payable on the eighth (8th) day
of illness or first (1st) day of emergency hospitalization. Long-term
disability benefits are payable after six (6) months of continuous
disability.
Employee & Dependent Life Insurance
At no cost to employees, eligible CIBER employees are covered for
two and a half (2.5) times their annual compensation to a maximum
$250,000 in life insurance coverage. In addition, a company paid
accidental death and dismemberment policy, if applicable, doubles
the insured amount. Spouses and dependent children are covered for
$10,000 and $5,000 respectively, in life insurance benefits.
Optional Life Insurance
Eligible employees may purchase life insurance in addition to that
provided by CIBER.
Long Term Care Insurance
Employees may purchase long term care (LTC) insurance to help cover
the costs of specialized care that you or a family member may need,
including care received at home, in a nursing home or in an assisted
living/residential care facility.
Retirement Savings
401(k) Savings Plan
Employees are immediately eligible to participate in CIBER's 401(k)
Savings Plan and may contribute up to 75% of compensation on a tax-deferred
basis. CIBER matches a portion of the deferral based on years of
service with the company. The plan has over 30 investment options,
including CIBER stock, and features a 401(k) loan program.
Employee Stock Plan
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Employees may purchase CIBER stock on a quarterly basis through
payroll deduction, at a discounted price (discounted 15% from the
lower of either the beginning or ending stock price for the quarter).
Paid Time Off
Paid Time Off (PTO) / Holidays
CIBER respects employees' diversified needs for time away from work.
In addition to Paid Holidays, CIBER employees are eligible for PTO
(vacation, personal, floating holidays) days to use for time needed
away from work. The amount of PTO is dependent upon an employee's
classification and length of service with CIBER.
Education
Tuition Assistance
A tuition assistance program of $2,000 per anniversary year is available
to employees to assist with the cost of additional education in
the areas of CIBER's business.
CIBER University
CIBER U is a virtual learning environment offered to all employees
and consists of 300 computer-based technical training courses, mentoring,
seminars, chat rooms, expert-led forums, white papers, news and
articles.
College Assistance
After two (2) years of service with the company, eligible employees
qualify for $1,000 annually towards their children's college expense.
Flexible Spending Account
Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
CIBER offers employees the opportunity to defer compensation, pre-tax
via payroll deduction for reimbursement of uninsured medical, dental,
vision or dependent care expenses.
Perks
Computer Assistance
CIBER employees qualify for an interest-free loan of up to $2,000
for the purchase of a personal computer.
Software Assistance
CIBER offers employees reimbursement up to $100 for software purchases
or information services-related materials.
Day Care Discount Program
CIBER employees are eligible to receive a ten percent (10%) discount
on day care expenses at several national day care providers.
Adoption Assistance
Eligible employees with at least one (1) year of service with the
company qualify for up to $1,500 in reimbursement of the costs associated
with adoption.
Employee Referral Bonus
Employee referral of new candidates has provided CIBER with outstanding,
new talent to grow. To enhance and continue this preferred resource,
CIBER offers an employee referral bonus and award program to employees
who refer candidates for hire.
