“Port Freeport’s project team researched several different system integrators and security technologies. We followed up with visits to the vendors who made the short list. Once completed, Port Freeport’s project team reviewed the RFPs and decided the creative solution offered by CIBER’s Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) was the best value for the port. With the system provided by CIBER, we achieved our goal of improving waterside security and Maritime Domain Awareness.”

Document Imaging and Management

The key to successful document management is creating a vision for the end state.  What likely uses are these documents to have in the future? Where will documents be stored?  How will they be accessed?  CIBER’s solution team uses comprehensive requirements analysis techniques to help you see a future where paper documents are electronic images that can be easily stored, manipulated and retrieved.

CIBER works with you to understand how the electronic information will be routed, approved, shared, stored, and accessed as part of a transaction, project, process or case. We ask about different security levels and your regulatory compliance requirements. We find out if you need to capture information for an audit trail. And we can advise you about disaster recovery options.  This collaborative process helps CIBER understand how you do business so we can provide you with the best custom-fit retrieval and document management solution

Document Imaging and Conversion

CIBER will help you get a handle on your paper, x-rays, images, microfiche and microfilm. No matter what your Federal agency does or the services you provide, we will help you create, save and retrieve information while enabling collaboration and communication with departments, agencies, constituencies and Congress.  CIBER will help you select the systems that will take “hard copy” – paper, microfiche, or microfilm – and convert it to a digital format.

Further, we will develop the project plan and provide the resources to conduct the conversion for you.  We define and implement PMI-based approaches for document preparation, scanning, coding and indexing.  We build in the quality assurance and quality control methods that validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the imaging effort.

As part of the project, we will help you develop a meaningful indexing approach that will let you locate the digital information quickly. Whether you want us to key from one field or 50, use your database or ours, double-key for accuracy or redact private information – CIBER does it all with ease.

Most importantly, we help your staff make use of these digital documents through the implementation of document processing software tools that range from the simple to the sophisticated.  CIBER focuses on delivering the right solution for digital file access and sharing throughout your enterprise.

Other Images, Other Services

CIBER knows that today’s Federal agency requirements to manage and store images go beyond paper documents to tech-nologies for biometrics, GIS and medical images.

Biometrics

Hundreds of biometrics systems are available today, including fingerprint, AFIS, facial recognition, hand geometry, iris recognition, retina-scan, voice recognition, signature verification, and keystroke dynamics.  CIBER provides its clients with objective expertise on the biometric industry. At the same time, CIBER is vendor-independent and technology-neutral, providing you with clear and objective expertise on the biometric industry and an array of services to include consulting, systems development and integration and biometrics testing and certification.

Medical Images Management

The success of any health care service is dependent on the efficient use and sharing of patient information.  CIBER offers services to help you store medical images and textual metafiles containing descriptions of clinical features and their diagnostic results.  We focus on defining methods and approaches to allow users to share and modify data, to retrieve data for further examination, and to browse through the database and make clinical decisions based on the medical images found.

Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)

CIBER provides GIS solutions that transform large amounts of complex data into enterprise knowledge. Our solutions focus on making information readily available through channels such as the desktop, the Web, and wireless applications. Through strategic relationships with our GIS partners, we provide our customers with leading-edge GIS technologies. We specialize in the design, development, and deployment of custom GIS applications and geodatabase systems.

Why CIBER

CIBER offers a partner-based approach to a wide array of imaging services, delivering vendor-independent solutions to meet your Federal agency imaging needs.  Our project-based approach focuses on delivering on time and on budget, while our attention to detail provides accurate coding and indexing.   In short, we help you reap the benefits of improved productivity and reduced cost through creative imaging solutions to meet your needs and expectations.
