WYDOT needed a flexible, simple and fully
integrated solution. Discover why the Wyoming Department of Transportation
chose to implement Enterprise Resource Planning software and how they achieved
more efficient cash collection and administration of projects and their
details.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) described WYDOT’s
new system as “a benchmark for other state DOTs to model.”
WYDOT is the only DOT agency in the US which has a fully integrated human
capital management, financial management, supply chain management, and asset
management ERP system.
Learn how to track all aspects of highway projects, including engineering,
asset management, work orders, fleet and building maintenance, and inventory
control within your system.
Find out how WYDOT leveraged PeopleSoft using:
Federal Aid Billing
- WYDOT controls sequencing of fund usage, helping to ensure that funds
are used based on priority to prevent the lapsing and loss of Federal funds
- WYDOT identifies projected funding for project phases at time of entry,
but before activation, enabling budgeting officials to easily access projections
to formally appropriate funds to a project phase
- WYDOT’s solution controls ensure they do not exceed contract
limits from specific funding sources and times billings to coincide with
contracts and agreements.
Linear Asset Management
- WYDOT’s Linear Asset Management tool is fully integrated with
the Oracle ERP Solution, providing a valuable link between operations groups
to access and share critical data
- This single point of entry simplifies user training and provides a common
interface whether in the office or the field.
User Productivity Kit (UPK)
- WYDOT leveraged Oracle’s UPK product to document system procedures,
as well as develop training which significantly simplifies the process of
providing timely, up-to-date information.
