Accelerated Security Setup
CIBER can help you reduce time and resources required for proper security setup. Our partnership with Q Software allows us to provide a best of breed tool that speeds up the security setup process for both World and OneWorld. These tools will reduce the workload on your internal resources and should help you set up a secure environment before going live.
The OneWorld tool includes a security model that can be quickly tailored to your specific security needs. The tool can reduce setup time by bypassing repetitive steps. In addition, a J.D. Edwards User ID can be assigned to multiple job functions and any resulting conflicts quickly eliminated.
In addition to software installation, testing and setup, we can provide training in a workshop environment that helps ensure user understanding and acceptance by mentoring your security specialist on how to use the tool. While our goal is to perform a knowledge transfer so that you may become self sufficient, some customers request that we provide a consultant to work with their team throughout the entire security setup process. If your needs are similar, we can provide this level of service as well.
Security Migration
Migrating to OneWorld — and want to ensure that your system has seamless security? CIBER can help ensure that this aspect of your migration is properly addressed.
Security is much different between World and OneWorld, so it can seem like a daunting task to translate between the two. Our partnership with Q Software allows us to run audit reports for a User ID in World so that a comparable environment can be created in OneWorld. This analysis in World can speed up the initial setup of OneWorld security, especially when utilizing the tool for setup.
