Manufacturing, Distribution and Retail
CIBER assisted an internationally renowned retailer, designer, manufacturer and distributor of fine jewelry during its design, installation and go-live. As technology project manager, CIBER resolved many issues relating to large-scale deployment, multiple enterprise servers, performance and large-scale development with object management. Tasks included setting up a test configuration on a test server, implementing a Citrix thin-client solution, and onsite software administration education.
Manufacturing
For a well-known manufacturer of dinnerware and earthenware objects, CIBER assisted with an innovative implementation designed to segregate development and production environments, and optimize performance. This project also included deployment of several HP9000 servers, a high-speed network, and a Windows terminal server.
Medical Products
A recognized global health care industry supplier of medical products and specialized medical testing devices engaged CIBER to assist with an implementation in co-existence with its existing World applications. CIBER worked with multiple vendors to implement on the iSeries 400 with SQL Server and Windows Terminal Server. We also evaluated and prototyped AS/400 Web servers and messaging middleware, including MQSeries and Tuxedo.
Telecommunications
For a world leader in connecting and routing wire and cable, CIBER deployed full-scale implementation assistance. CIBER assisted with the entire technology installation, from procurement and setup of a new IBM iSeries server, to software installation, to Web Server configuration and project management, through technical development, and wireless data collection with Pocket PC devices.
