Lawson Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Interfaces

CIBER and ADP have combined their human resources and software application expertise to create a unique service offering for Lawson Software customers that includes interface programs between Lawson’s human resources application suite and ADP’s suite of financial and compliance services.

CIBER's ADP services enhance the Lawson application and increase the efficiency of payroll-related functions. By addressing the most common interfaces that customers require, CIBER and ADP seamlessly integrate ADP to complement Lawson's human resources platform.

The interfaces enable a more rapid implementation timeline, faster use of ADP services and reduce development costs. They minimize on-going maintenance because streamlined technical designs were used to create them. If you are familiar with Lawson’s technical environment, you will easily understand the front-end interface design, and you can follow standard Lawson processes for future maintenance and testing.

The interfaces can be easily added to a new technology environment. With minimal customization to address each client’s individual requirements, they can be functional quickly.

CIBER's installation, set-up and customization of the interfaces is included as part of this packaged offering, with our services billed at a special ADP rate. The offering is convenient too, as we can work at your location or remotely from our office.

ADP’s Financial and Compliance Services

ADP’s Financial and Compliance Services provide tailored solutions for businesses that use human resources software applications. The CIBER interface programs allow ADP’s solutions to be easily implemented with Lawson software so that you can reap the benefits of streamlined production and increased compliance.

The interfaces support Lawson versions 7.2.x and greater, and can run on an iSeries, UNIX or NT platform. In some cases, earlier software versions can be accommodated.

Interface Features and Advantages

Interfaces submitted directly from Lawson’s main menu system
Full Lawson HR-Payroll functionality for check sorting, time-accrual balances, partial ACH and deduction classes
Addition of custom information to check interface or check stub
Customizable check stub detail (check interface)
Control total reports generated to balance against Lawson reports
Custom screens available in Lawson GUI-format to manually recreate either tax interface file or check printing file for ADP, for any payroll
Wage garnishment processing
ADP CheckPrint capability
Low maintenance required for interfaces on an on-going basis

Maintenance and Support

Once CIBER has installed the interfaces and they are successfully working, the customer owns the interfaces. Should the interfaces need to be modified in any way, the client can choose to do this work on its own, or engage CIBER at a special ADP time and materials rate. CIBER is offering “prepaid” support packages for a specified number of hours for one of our consultants to assist with modifying and testing the interfaces as required by future business changes.
