Claude Pumilia

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Pumilia is Chief Financial Officer of Ciber, bringing extensive experience in driving growth and profitability in the technology sector through both operational transformation and mergers and acquisitions. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Pumilia has served in a variety of senior finance and corporate development roles at various Fortune 500 technology companies. He served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales Finance for CA, Inc. and his responsibilities included finance for all sales geographies, strategy and forecasting, and international controllership. He also served on the Senior Leadership Team and participated in more than $1 billion of acquisitions of application software providers. Prior to CA, Mr. Pumilia served as Vice President of Finance for HP where he had responsibility for more than $10 billion in revenue for the Americas Consumer Business. While at HP, he helped lead the Digital Imaging and Publishing Business Unit to double-digit revenue and profit growth on over $3 billion in revenue. Prior to HP, Mr. Pumilia led the Worldwide Financial Planning and Analysis Function for Compaq Computer, a $40 billion a year technology company where he reported to the CFO. He also had the opportunity to lead the Value Capture team during the HP/Compaq merger that resulted in over $3 billion in savings.

Mr. Pumilia also served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development for Emerging.com, an E-services company focused on the creation and deployment of digital businesses. He worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Co. from 1994 to 1996, serving the technology, energy, and health care industries. He joined Ciber from the City of Denver, where he has served since 2007 as the city’s first CFO. During that time he restructured $3 billion of publicly-traded debt and led cost-reduction efforts that closed over $300 million in deficits.

Mr. Pumilia holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University.
