Case #1: A Large Consumer Healthcare Company
A consumer healthcare company, a division of one of the world’s largest research-based pharmaceutical corporations, wanted to centralize Web application development for more than 75 websites, consolidating onto a single technology platform and hosting environment. They also wanted repeatability across all sites, integration with various partners, and the ability to perform targeted marketing. CIBER’s Digital Marketing solution enables them to accomplish this. Responsible for all project management, functional design, technical architecture, Web application development, maintenance and support, integration, quality assurance, analytics, and hosting, CIBER migrated all sites to a .NET version of CIBER’s UDMM platform. The solution encompasses campaign management components and workflow standards, resulting in a single repository of user profile data. This facilitates cross-pollination of content, targeting, personalization, and analytics across all websites, users, and campaigns. This framework also enables seamless data integration with partner systems. The client is now able to deliver consistently on a significant pipeline of projects, and can better service their consumers, while achieving reduced development costs, improved quality, and reduced time to market.
Case #2: Theme Park and Resort
A large theme park and resort wanted to do more with the website its travel agents were using; it was limited in scope and offered no destination information. They refined objectives for the site—to provide a robust, one-stop site as a primary resource for destination information, agent news, and educational information. CIBER met the challenge, providing practical innovation that enhanced the site’s appeal, functionality, and informational content; and created a dynamic and efficient hub for travel agents to personalize retail and wholesale accounts and process transactions. The solution’s Web-based administrative tools enable the resort to edit site content in certain areas. CIBER also launched a version of the site for the resort’s sales team and developed localized versions of the site in French and Spanish. CIBER’s practical innovation for Digital Marketing, redesigning and updating the site and adding attractive features, created a seamless relationship with better communication and education, helping the resort to nurture its relationships with travel agents, increasing registered users and site traffic. Within a month of the initial launch, site traffic jumped approximately 50% and within a year, traffic to the site increased more than 200%.
